My parents told me real estate was too saturated to break into. I believed them for about a week — then I remembered I'd already moved to New York City with basically nothing but a suitcase and a stubborn streak, just to prove I could survive it. I did more than survive. I learned how to read a room in three seconds flat, how to hustle without losing myself, and how to turn "no" into "not yet." Turns out those are the exact skills real estate runs on. So the saturated industry never stood a chance.
Here's the thing nobody tells you about this business: it was never about sales. It's about relationships and integrity, full stop. Anyone can hand you a listing sheet. I'm interested in actually knowing what keeps you up at night about this move, then going and solving it — because every deal comes with a new person, a new personality, and a new problem to untangle, and I genuinely love that part. Give me a tough negotiation and I will have more fun than is probably normal.
I'm a lifelong student — of real estate, of people, of myself. I take feedback the way some people take coffee: constantly, and even when it's bitter, because criticism is just information I didn't have yet. And when things go sideways (they will — it's real estate), I ask myself one question: is this happening to me, or is it happening for me? That question has gotten me through more than I can count.
Outside of contracts and closings, I'm the friend who's stuck around through every season of your life, the one already planning the next trip, and the person who will absolutely stop mid-conversation to pet your dog. I read constantly, chase anything related to health and self-improvement, and firmly believe life's too short not to make it count — so I try to leave every day, and every person I work with, a little better than I found them. I'm also loyal to a fault: if you're in my circle, I am unshakably in your corner.
Giving back isn't a side project for me — it's part of how I keep score. I currently sponsor a local track and cross country team and volunteer at a community kitchen here in Raleigh, because I'd rather give than receive, and because this community has given me plenty worth paying forward.
So if you're looking for someone who'll treat your biggest financial decision like it's personal — because to me, it is — let's talk. I promise at least one good one-liner along the way.
